Ah yes, Linpus Linux. The first thing I did was to format my ssd, unfortunately, and I didn't investigate further But yes, it booted and everything, but Xorg was not installed afaik.

I was able to successfully install and boot Linux mint 18.1 *32bits*. Even if last time I tried it was somehow unstable with freezes. Maybe you can try to install the 32bits version of your distro?
