i don't think a battery replace would fix it, since both LEDs don't turn ON.The only thing i would try is to disconnect the battery and connect the AC adapter and check if at least one LED turns ON.

I tried with disconnecting the battery to see if LED would turn on with just AC adapter however no luck. It looks like I am heading to the motherboard replacement. Did you send it to Acer for replacement?
