Have you tried to remove the driver? if not, right click on the device (in device manager) and click uninstall. if you are prompted to remove the driver, click yes. it will then ask you to restart....

If you're in a pinch, you can just swing by Walmart or Best Buy and grab something. It should say "Kensington" or "Kensington compatible" on it. Most Walmarts are open 24 hours/day.
