This is a deal killer for me - I was about to buy a Swift 3. But I need to run Windows 7 (64 bit) and I also want to be able to run Linux 64 bit. One of the historical advantages of Acer has been their great compatibility with various Windows and Linux versions and easy upgradeability. That is why we've bought at least 6 Acer laptops in my home over the last few years. Acer seems to be moving away from that flexibility, which means they will lose us as future customers.
