Re: i have an Aspire R3-471-T-54T-1. Missing wireless network adapters, totally gone!!

There's several things you can try.

Suggestion A. Reset the battery.

Suggestion B. Update the BIOS.  After the BIOS update is complete, restart your computer.  If that doesn't fix it, you can access the UEFI/BIOS settings and load the BIOS defaults F9 and then save/exit F10.

Suggestion C. Backup your important personal files and try to use your Acer recovery media again.  Except this time, wipe your drive first.

To wipe your hard drive, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Shift key and restart your computer

2. Click troubleshoot

3. Click advanced

4. Click command prompt

5. Select your account

6. Enter your password

7. Use diskpart clean to wipe your hard drive. Diskpart clean works on both hard drives and solid state drives.  Be sure to select the correct drive (disk).  It will probably be disk 0, but be careful.

8. After you use diskpart clean to wipe your drive, turn off your computer by pressing and holding the power button on your computer until it shuts down.

9. Insert your Acer Recovery Media, and then turn on your computer and use Acer's Recovery Media instructions to restore your PC to factory condition.  I've never used Acer Recovery Media, so you'll have to call Acer if you don't know what to do here.

Suggestion D. Purchase and install the wireless/bluetooth adapter below. Acer uses the adapter below on some R3-471Ts.
