I have an Spin 5 SP513-51 with Bios version: V1.02. I see there is:
BIOS Updates Intel microcode

Version: 1.11
This warning is offered:
"Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution."
And the correct way is???? My experience with other manufacturers has been to provide details of what a bios does and instructions how to update. I think its reasonable for ACER's customers to expect as much.
What does the update to Intel Microcode do?
I'm running a dual boot Linux Mint and wonder if updating the Bios will affect the boot options that exists now?
