Update to my issue: WHEA logger still floods Windows Systems log. There are days that this does not happen. But almost every day it does. Always the same message "A corrected hardware error has occurred. Component: PCI Express Root Port".
I'd like to see someone from Acer comment this issue.
My system status:
- Newest BIOS version is installed (1.08)
- All Windows updates are installed
- All the other Acer drivers are newest version
- No other devices connected to USB ports, no SD cards connected
When I stop using put this machine I put it to hibernate or sleep. I wonder if this error occurs when computer is resuming from hibernate or sleep? Has anyone tested if this error happens when resuming from sleep, or if it happens after normal reboot also.
