Hi there, I'm in same troubles .. Acer Swift 3, tried Ubuntu and Lubuntu 16.04, 16.10 and 17.04, both 64 and 32 bit. The only one that booted after installation was Lubuntu 16.04 32bit, grub without "quite splash", but it works randomly, 9 on 10 times it produces a kernel panic on apci init. I really hate windows and I love this machine, this situation is really disappointing.
