It may have been completely discharged, try battery reset, switch off the laptop, disconnect from AC adapter and follow the instructions in the video:https://uk.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34842
Could you also check whether all the screws at the bottom cover are in place and not loose, they should be hand tight.
