Hi, I just got my first Acer laptop (SPIN 3) and I want to give it an upgrade by installling a SSD drive. This thread has been really helpful to me, but I still need a little bit more help from you, if possible.
I also bought a Crucial MX300 M.2 SSD, but I never opened an Acer computer before. In all my other notebooks I owned I had easy access to the HDD and the battery was user removable, so it was real easy to disconnect from any power source before touching anything in the computer.
With the Spin 3 it seems that I have to remove all the screws in the back to have access to the inside of the computer, but I was a little bit cautious to do so without any diagram or any picture.
I looked online for any service manual or any diagram that would point to the right direction, but I couldn't find any.
Would you mind giving me a basic step-by-step on how to do install the M.2 SSD on the Spin?
I have assembled many desktops before and have changed the hdd and memory on my old notebooks, but they had a port to do so - with the spin 3 is a little bit different and I don't want to get it wrong.
