Is the keyboard of the R7 bulging up normally or do I have a battery that's blowing up soon?

I only started to notice now that the keyboard on my 3 year old R7 is bulging up and I wonder if this has always been that way, and I just did not notice, or if this is an indication the the battery under there is expanding and pushing everything up brutally.
